I`m in college now, and looking for time and a band to join.

I`m 21 years old, in college Pre-Dentistry/Music double major--and I live in IL.

Oboe is my 2nd Instrument. My first is Saxophone (alto, soprano, tenor) and third is Cello.

Hellllppppp! Non talented dad needs to buy oboe reeds for his daughter in manhattan,NYC. Also flute music for the other daughter. They thought a store was called Ashtons????
Any suggestions?

Hi Pete,
I would look into buying from a professional...maybe contact a few orchestras or find a music school. Someone who makes their own reeds knows what they are doing as opposed to a machine who can make a thousand reeds and maybe 100 work...Also, depending on what flute music you need, i would surf the net first, but if you find a store and need it right away the cost shouldnt be that much of a gap.

(sorry my english is so bad...i have been here a month speaking german...god I cant remember anything!!!)
