*Laughs at the good Asian comment.* Apparently you haven`t heard the 1st chair oboist at my college - he`s Asian, and he`s GOOOD. I`m jealous. =P Eh, he`s got 4 years of experience against me, so I don`t mind that much.

Hello!
Is there anyone playing baroque oboe.
I started with the moderne oboe, played a few years, then quit playing.
Ten years later, in 2002, I started to play baroque oboe. Last year, I also bought an oboe da caccia. I am just so mad about playing these instruments and listening to barouque orchestras such as Freiburger Barockorcher and The English baroque Soloists (preferably with oboes, of course). I is just a wicked sound.
