The New York Summer Music Festival at SUNY Oneonta - Established in 1889 as a state school, SUNY Oneonta is a multi-purpose college of liberal arts and sciences, known for its exceptional facilities and its beautiful campus.
Students are provided with opportunities to study extensively in many areas of instruction, including: Orchestras and bands for instrumentalists; Choral ensembles and original music theatre projects for vocalists; Composition workshops; A number of jazz classes and ensembles for those who desire intensive jazz training, and; Classes introducing new instruments, such as beginning piano and beginning guitar. In addition to supplemental classes spanning a wide range of ability levels and interests in areas of: music history, theory, computer technology in music, filmmaking, jazz improvisation, and many others!
The NYSMF is for students ages 10-20. Students may attend for 2, 4, or 6 weeks

Well I dont know about ohio but i live in kentucky and i go to this camp called Foster Music Camp at Eastern Kentucky University and some of my friends there were from ohio. Its a lot of fun you should look into it.
