hi
i come from germany and just started with oboe. i want to study music after my au pair year in the usa. i also play flute and piano. musical instruments are much cheaper in the USA than they are in germany, so i would like to buy one short after my arrival in july! can you recommend one? i thought about Buffet BC 4011 or Yamaha YOB 411. i don`t want to spend more than 2000$, because flute will be my first instrument and oboe is only a hobby. but as this should be my first and last oboe it should be from grenadilla. do you have experience with music123.com? they sell instruments much cheaper. i hope you can help me!!!
thank you,
ines

I`ve had good buying experiences with music123.com and wwbw.com . Prices are good, and their 45 day trial period is a plus.

one more question: whát is the difference between
yamaha yob411 and buffet 4011/12? is it only the price? would you recommend a buffet 4012 or 4052?

If you get a buffet, get a 4052...it`s more advanced than a 4012
