I just started oboe a few months ago and I have been using a school instrument. It is a all wood Jupiter oboe with all the keys down to low Bb and, after a few repairs, works pretty nice for me. I don`t believe Jupiter makes oboes this this anymore, all I could find on their site is a plastic student model. Does anyone know anything about this instrument, its original suggested retail, how old, if its a good model, etc? I don`t want to buy a new professional instrument now if the school one is good and free to use.
