Ok, First off, I already own a Fossati Paris Tiery student model Oboe, I play in my High School band, and am going out for County Honor Band next year. I WILL be continueing with oboe for like... ever, and I decided I am in desperate need of a good plastic Oboe (for outdoor concerts). I was looking into the Fox Renard Model 330, or 333, but unfortunately, I do not yet have a job (and don`t think I`m old enough to get one). If you have any ideas for an Oboe, or feed back on the 330s or 333s, please respond. Thank you.

I would suggest getting a Loree if you are serious about getting a nice oboe if you are going to continue the oboe for like, "ever." Also, Yamaha is a good choice, I dunno though once you go Loree- you can`t really go back. GOOD LUCK! The Fox Renard are alright but not the best.

If I were you, I would look into getting a plastic top joint Yamaha 441 and selling your current instrument. These instruments seem to be the best of both worlds; the sound of a grenadilla instrument with the crack prevention of a resin instrument.
Regards,
Chris
