I was just wondering caz i wanted to go there and I`ve heard its great, but what are oppinions of people who actually attended I was wondering...Thanks~

i haven`t actutally gone there as a student... but since i live in michigan it`s easy 4 me 2 just take a trip there and visit... and i did... and well, they are really good there and i mean REALLY good... u have 2 b able 2 get up in front of people like alot, and there just there just awsome... if u wanna go there i say all the power 2 ya but just as a heads up there really good there, but the kids are really nice and fun, expecially the theater kids... lol so yeah hope this helped... later

I`ve had friends who`ve gone there and like it. The audition process for it isn`t that bad you only need to send in a tape or CD, I think. The usual stuff like one fast movement and one slow movement and scales etc. It`s pretty competitive once you are in. I believe in the High School division there is 2 orchestras and 2 bands, I might be wrong. I hope this helps! Good luck on auditioning! i went to interlochen this summer and i loved it. everything was amazing there.
they are making a lot of changes in the program though, so i think its going to be very different.
I had a great time. The teachers are great and all the oboe students are really good, but more importantly, reaaly nice.
You definately should audition.

yeah! i`ve been looking to go to interlochen for awhile now and I couldnt go last year because I couldnt afford it but this summer i think im going to ! Is it hard to be accepted into the camp? I play oboe, and im super excited. But I`m learning to make my own reeds , so maybe i could learn alot there. Thanks

My dad went there for the summer for 3 years (he plays clarinet) and he loved it.
