I have played oboe for 9-10 years. However I have only played a selmer (crap), a Noblet (crap), and a Loree (insert smiley face here).

I am currently looking into a Harworth-London S55. This will be collegiate level. I heard good things about Harworth, but I would like your opinion. Thanks

Also, for anyone in the southern Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia oboists:
octOBOEfest is coming up. It will be held Sat. Oct. 30 and Sun. Oct. 31. For more information and to sign up, visit www.octOBOEfest.com.

if the brand that you want to talk about is HOWARTH...i can tell you it`s fantastic! I own an S45C(automatic and with 3rd octave) and it`s simply amazing!

try it or you`ll regret!

I`ve played Howarth before. It`s pretty good brand a little different than the Loree models. If I were to choose between the two I would definately pick the Loree though. But it all depends on YOUR feel to the instrument.
