oboes suck! geeks play them

That was rude! And that is like discriminating (sp?). Every oboe at my school are far from *geeks* as you call them.

In our school it doesn`t matter about popularity. We have our groups of friends and no one is "better than any one" else. Why are you on an OBOE FORUM if you are just going around bashing us?

I play the clarinet my self and I can`t really see how you wouldn`t take it as a compliment No actually that was not my point My mom allways called my clarinet a flute (and that is really different) but the most funny thing i tried was that we once in our orchestra made these opera concerts with pro opera singers and the tenor said: "I think the clarinets play too loud"-pointing at the saxophones. So don`t worry. No one knows what a clarinet is

Oboes rock. I wish it had a different name though. Oboe- hobo. Ugh. It annoys me.

i noe i just kinda ignore them i mean that hobo joke is so old those people are lame......this clarinet girl said that oboes are day[well not day but u get it] and i got so mad at her because i know she couldn`t play it if she tried..........therefore oboe players and saxophone players rock woohoo!

How come saxophones rock as well? They are far much easier to play than any other instrument in the orchestra

lol, i get called a clarinet all the time and its soooo annoying. oboes are way better than clarinets and they don`t make stupid squeaky noises all the time either

yes i have to agree sax is very easy i doubled on sax as a marching instrument from oboe and it is sooooo easy but i guess i like it because its new to me and its a "challeng"

Well I dont get that statement. How come it`s better because it`s harder? So a piccolo flute is way better than oboes then? And a horn is way better than that? Maybe you should get a better argument...
