I'm sorry to say this, but this forum is giving us oboeists a bad name! Not all oboes are snobs!! Who cares about what other people think!! Just enjoy playing you're instrument and don't be so pathetic about other instruments!! All instruments have their use in the orchestra so will evry1 stop being so childish!!The oboe is a hard instrument, so what?! You shouldn't have to use that as an argument as to why oboes are the best instruments!! Oh and btw my conductor doesn't ignore, not evry1 hates the oboes!! I fhjteyre good players then they are strongly appreciated 9in bands and orchestras!!
