My instrument doesn`t have a low
Bb key and I really need it for
this Honor Band tryout coming up?
I wanna make a really high chair number, but
it probbaly won`t happen without that key?
Any advice?

If you notice, the oboe has 2 resonance holes on the bell where the b-flat key is. You would have to close your legs up on the resonance holes in order to get the low b-flat. I know this because I used to have a selmer back in the day that didn`t have the b-flat key.

It`s possible to maake the honor band without b flat key. Just play the other scales 2 octaves. F two octaves is possible. Wanna know how? Oh, Since you have a Selmer with no low Bb key, then a G minor scale in possible in 2 octaves! Takes practice
