Nobody really knows what a dying duck sounds like. But I believe they are silent and pass with dignity. Oboe is more of a live swan to me. Strat man Dwight

I cannot say that I have ever heard a dying duck, nor ever want to! But I am learning to love the sound that my Oboe makes, stick in there!

Well, I probably did at first, but I believe that the oboe is the worst instrument to start out playing, but once you pass a certain barrier the oboe beats all the other orchestral instruments with it`s beauty of sound.
