hey everyone, i play oboe and i love it, but my director wants me to back up the bass section and play bassoon, i really dont want to.. and i only have one other obist.. should i do it?

I`ve Gotten lots more responses in the bassoon section, they all say i should try it and compare, but i think i hate bassoon so i dont think ill do it.
