Concerto is a really cool oboe solo by Tommaso Albinoni if you`re board with the music that you`re playing.

i dont know what kind of music you play in your band but in every song we play i always have a solo. you should look into the song torch dance i dont know the composer off the top of my head but thats a good song for a big band that has a solo in just about every section, there was both an english horn and an oboe solo..

to add to my previous reply when i was a freshman there was an amazing oboeist a few years ahead of me she was amazing.. anyways they played a song called october that had a huge HUGE oboe solo in the beginning! it's pretty much the level of music that you play my band plays level 4 or better, depending on what festivals we do.. and in the orchestra the oboe has a big part in the music... in my orch class i switch from my viola to oboe an awful lot...
