My friend Eric just lost his wife to cancer.

He has mentioned to me numerous times about wanting to learn to play the oboe. His motivation and spirits are quite low and Im going to try and gets things moving for him with this instrument.

Any guidance for someone who has never played or owned an oboe? He`s in Westchester COunty NY

Sorry to hear about your friend`s loss. He is fortunate to have a friend like you.

Your friend should get an oboe teacher to help him get started, and hopefully to continue with the study of the oboe.

Also, contact and visit Nora Post(Kingston, NY) to discuss selection of an oboe (new or used).
