Dear friends:
This is my very first visit here. I just want to know if somebody know the music of Ennio Morricone for the film "The Music", in particular "Gabriel`s Oboe". I`m interested in the topic by its relationship with an oboe concerto by Alessandro or Benedetto Marcello. Does anybody know anything about it? Thanks!

I know Gabriel`s oboe and have play it.
Its a very beautiful plays. I have heard Gordon Hunt in this music !!!
I have play the marcello concerto too, and I think that the concerto is long if you want to play less pause.

I`ve played both pieces too. And as I look at the music to both I don`t really see any connections between both. Sorry.
