If you have followed this forum, I think I might have been ventor #1, I don`t know who the next 100 venting members were, but I see that Dwight was probably ventor 101. Yeah, he wrote the book on venting by cursing in the name of Ned Flanders! If you watch the Simpsons. Such profanity can barely be tolerated here. Okay, so if you watch Simpsons you know that Lisa plays the Saxophone! That is our music topic and more ... what a wonderful validation and recognition of all musicians! Wildband the sax player would be proud. Music rocks the world and really is the universal tongue. That was a tongue in cheek remark!

Now I must caution you about kissing non instrumental things or being kissed there. Speaking for myself, or in my humble opinion, such activity is a distraction from my concentration, gives me muscle spasms, diverts my concentration and hinders my oboe practice. Furthermore it makes me neglect my pet turtle who needs his daily dose of classical music.

I encouragre you to blow your horn, practice your scales, avoid crocodiles (also Polar Bears, dingoes, rats and moderators), and if you get a pet ... turtles are very smart and less dangerous than charmed snakes and all of the above.

Also, if you are looking for a forum which has a promising future and a well educated, approachable moderator, enjoy Rachel`s. The sponsors here might become a little nervous because they are not yet in the ventilation business. If they were smart like you and Rachel, they would probably want to be there. Global warming will make it very difficult for outdoor marching bands, and indoor ventilation will be crucial to the survival of music on our planet.

Cheeky, I was not ventor 101, and it really doesn`t matter. I`ll soften up a little on you, since my previous post.

You could have been a hit in the musical jokes section. But I think this whole thing is about the previous Chatterbox topic, and obviously some other people did not appreciate the whole concept. Don`t take it personally. And here`s why.

I read your stuff over in the flute forum. That was good. Were you here a couple of weeks ago? There was something by someone about elitist snobs in the oboe section, and you have either laid that topic to rest, or opened a new one! So, you won`t be here to find out? If I were you, I would keep watching. As you said earlier this week, there are impersonators who might use your name to discredit you. If that happens, the site director has the computer identity of every individual and the ability to block them.

I will again repeat not to take anything personally. What`s happening here is a lingering result of the Million Long Thread and the failed Chatterbox thread, started by another person. It`s the CONCEPT that has not been embraced or taken appropriately. The people who criticized it, whom you have read in the flute section, have not criticized you or ANYONE directly. I think that is very good, and if they did it now, they would be pointless, we`ll all be gone and where`s the musical relevance? I think that their references to foolishness or pointlessness, had more to do with pie and cheese, than OBOE! Maybe you don`t know what I mean, you would have had to be there.

This forum just has no place for Chatterbox which has been demonstrated. This address to you is technically off-topic, so CLARINET!

I would like to see a general discussion forum, but I don`t think there is one here. At other forums, it has worked tremendously well, and has been good for members, as well as business. MONEY!

And cheeky and others, here is some news. There are other people who may invade the forums here, and they don`t care whether or not there is general discussion, they will jump in anywhere and compromise the integrity of the various issues & topics already in place. I hope it doesn`t happen, but have learned this from postings other forums. GUITAR!

It should not be blamed directly on MLT or Chatterbox. Some are just forum hoppers who have watched this forum with a perverted interest and have been waiting for their chance, which is happening when we leave. BEGINNERS!

Stay out of it and do not get involved. The moderator will eventually delete their misdeeds and over a period of time, will identify and block them at their source.

What a lesson this has been. A good one for me, I have enjoyed chatting. SAXOPHONE!

An entirely new forum with open discussion between level-headed people has been created. And I would like to thank Anime (again) for bringing us together. Too bad this forum was not in tune with the times. PIANO!
