i play oboe for 5 yrs in malaysia. i felt lonely when playing oboe cos is the only one who play oboe in the band. no one can share the happiness and sadness with me. How u guys think???

I have sympathized with you, but you have the advantage to develop your own personality and character, and become unique. Of course emotions are important, you can talk about them instead of expressing them solely through your instrument. If you are part of a band, YOU ARE NEVER REALLY ALONE.
