i`m preparing for a college-audition. i have to play three pieces from different times. who can help me finding nice and advanced oboe pieces from the 20th century?
any ideas?

Gordon Jacobs wrote a few nice oboe concertos - very modern but still classical in form.

Concerto in D Major by F. Hydas. An amazing piece of work, requires a lot of tongue work though.

i think the britten metamorpheses are from the 20th century.
I don`t know how advanced you are cause they`re ARCT.

They are. He wrote them in 1955.
