Hey everybidy, i just want to brag how good i am ( i dont want to be a little brat)
BUt OH my god, i have been playing oboe for 1 year and im in 2 bands, im in ELLINGTON which is a senior band and i just found out today that im in the SENIOR ORCHESTRA with all the year 11 and 12`s and im only in year 8 im so excited like everyone in orchestra has been playing for atleast 5 years and i got in after 1st year, so im proud of myself.
Im playing second oboe now im just scared i cant handle the stuff they are playing .. WISH ME WELL

sure. Good job? Not many people play oboe though; you`re practicly guareenteed a place somewhere if you play one. Not that i`m judging you or anything

if you play oboe ... you either have it or you dont. everyone around you is probably just really bad. either that or you are a genious... and i doubt that too.

Congratulations! no point on being arrogant though because there are always people better than you. I was in a simliar situation my 8th grade year too (definately no genius at Oboe especially reeds haha). What are you playing in orchestra by the way?
