After trying several different brands ( all pro models) I found the Fox 800 the best. At first I wouldent even consider the fox but after tying them all the Fox 800 won my heart and soul.

I have a Barrington intermediate model. It has the full conservatory keywork in addition to the 3rd octave key.

I guess mine's a fox! It's a school owned one though. But I'll be getting a better one here soon! This girl just graduated and I'm getting her oboe which is 100000000 times better!

I play my high school's Yamaha YOB 441.

But my senior year (I'm an up-and-coming junior right now) I plan on buying a Patricola Evoluzione in Rosewood (with gold-played keys if I can manage that! The factory makes them but I have to find a dealer that will order one for me with the gold-plated keys.) I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of an English Horn that my director pretty much promises me. No idea what he'll buy yet.
