Does anyone know where i can get the supplies to make my own reed case?? I want to make a cigarette case into a reed case, and i basically need the velvet portion that actually holds the reeds in place. Does anyone know how i can make this? What is the spacing for each reed holder? Aything else i need to know?

I don`t play the oboe myself, by i want to make this for a very good friend of mine who does play the oboe and i have about 1 week to do it. Any comments are appriciated! Thanks!

Go to a craft store. It might be easier to just make a wooden reed case.

actually, I made a reed case out of an altoids case and gave it to an oboist friend of mine.
For the part that held the reeds I just used foam .. mainly from foam that came in plastic reed cases that come with the reeds that you buy at a music shop.
