Ive been playing for a year and a half and willin to give advice

Do you really think that you are adequately informed about playing the oboe after a year to give people advice?

lol, yeah that`s funny. I`ve been playing five years, and I`m sure I could give good advice, but I`ll give it as needed. I have no problem helping people with their problems though ..

I agree. What qualifies you to give advice? I`ve been playing for a lot longer than 1 year but I don`t think I am really qualified to give advice. There is still soo much to learn even if you`ve been playing for 50 years you can still learn something (endless). Maybe you meant you can help beginner oboist`s out with beginner problems and stuff.

yall i was wonderin...do you guys have any good advice on how to break in new reeds?

I started playing oboe this summer and i was wondering what kind of reeds are the best????? I use Emerald and Jones.....

I`m not shure you guys would consider this advise. Anyways do you think this is a good price for a student oboe... used. Not shure how old though. the price is $300 is that resonable?
