I am wondering if any bassoonists out there have tried the "Bassoon Boost" (which is available as a click above this forum - Boost your Bassoon - and what their comments are. Sounds too good to be true, but I'm open.

I havn't tried it. I'd be interested to hear about those who have though. However, as I'm renting a bassoon (and in turn, the bocals) I don't think I'll be trying it anytime soon.

no way am i touching my fox bocal, i dont care what it does , its a good daymn bocal and noone is going to take it away from me!!! ARGGGGH

I didn't, and dont have plans, with the band's bassoon i'm playing with, but can be interesting, and there is no problem, High School Bassoonist, you always can return to cork !!!!! :-))


There is one thing i'm shure i will try: I will put resonators in my bassoon pads (bell, bass, and some pads in boot joint) But that will occurr late june, when i get my own bassoon.

ememem.......In my opinion，trying new kind of bocal is good for both u and ur basssoon cox every bassoon fit different kinds of bocal.So try other brand of bocal is meaningful

bt by the way I hv a heckel bocal, so somehow i am satisfy about my bocal XDD~~
