I absolutely love the Bassoon, and the way it sounds. I am really glad that I was chosen to switch over from Flute to the Bassoon because sitting by a load of catty Girls got really annoying. I wanted to know if playing a Brass Lip-Buzzing instrument will ruin my Embouchure on Bassoon. I pretty much don't care how I sound on the Flute anymore and I play Clarinet and the Two more renown Saxes and I'm sure that playing those won't make a difference, but I am really worried because I am getting my Bassoon repaired, and I don't want to pick it up and sound horrible. !!

To me, the brass embouchure is sooo different from the bassoon embouchure that it wouldn't be a problem. I would think the ones to mess it up would be the woodwinds with the reeds since those involve rolling in the lips and different firmness and settings around your mouth.

I agree. I play tuba for marching band and can go from tuba to bassoon like it's nothing. But when I tried to pick up my sax after playing bassoon I had to change everything because my tone was horrible!!!
