I'm not sure how many of you all know who Judith LeClaire is, but she is the Prinicpal Bassoonist with the New York Philharmonic. I have recently been trying to get her style of tone. (I swear she can make it sound like a toatally different instrument when she wants!!!)Well, I guess what I'm trying to ask is how do you get the lighter (woody) tone on such a dark and heavy bassoon like a Fox 222? This goes espicially for the higher register...hers sounds absolutely amazing!!!

Thanks in advance!
