This is probably a silly question but would getting a longer crook/bocal flatten my rather sharp bassoon??? The crook/bocal i have at the minute doesnt have a number.
This bassoon is almost a semitone sharp over its entire range!!! I have to really loosen my embouchure to get the note in tune but then it becomes very unstable and loses tone quality
Are American instruments tuned to a higher pitch to ones in UK?
