*whoooooooo-ahhhhhhhhhh* *whoooooooo-ahhhhhhhhh* ok, all calm now. I guess what is so frusturating is that I can't cut off my notes so that they sound, well, good. 0.o I have tried stopping the note with no tongue,(just air), a slight tongue, a hard tongue....IT DOES'T MATTER! I cannot get my note cut offs to sound good, and that presents many problems when performing the solos I have in orchestra. I can do this on my flute...but I can't cut off nicely on a double reed...
