I looked online for reviews for the Canadian Maple Schiller Bassoon but I can't seem to find any news. It's under 600$. Is this a good price for it?

Thanks very much, I appreciate all your help.

I have never seen a Schiller instrument or even heard of them before. Reading their web site it looks as if they source the instruments from China. I have never yet seen a worthwhile bassoon made in that country.
Also I think the asking price tells you a lot - even as a used instrument I reckon that is way below a price you would have to pay to get a decent bassoon.

I would stay away - Chinese made.

Another thing, although I've mentioned this once. If a bassoon is selling for less than 1000, don't buy it. It will not be good.
