Several times a year a Seattle guy calling himself Quinn the Eskimo offers a Fox model 41 or a model IV on ebay for about $1,300 or $1,700 respectively. He describes himself as a former engineer who now makes his living by selling used musical instruments. The vast majority of his instruments are not bassoons.
He seems reputable and has a great feedback score. But, again, bassoons are not his specialty.
Does anyone have any thoughts/feelings/comments/advice about buying one of these bassoons from Quinn? Does anyone have any experience with him?

He sells good horns at decent prices. I have played a few of them (bought by my teacher) and all of them were well worth the money.
