halo..well in my lessons iv been working thro a jazz book and my teacher says that my timing is like always perfect ONLY when i hav som sort of metronome going like her cliking or me tapping my foot.
Any comments?

your fine, in fact, your doing great! You seem to have a good internal pulse even with or without a met. Last night it was funny to watch some horn players play off beats. Not only did they perform really bad at it the whole reason i saw why was that they were playing like brick walls! I mean come on, how does anyone expect to play a slightly complex rhythm (especially when they dont understand it) if they are not going to move their body! Groove man its all about the groove...
