Sounds more like a kid who plays a bunch of stuff alright, not a trumpet player. A trumpet player would have listed how long he has been playing, who he has played with, and all of the mouthpieces he owns.
:P
Nine and a half years.
Cheers!

So, you`re saying that you`re not a trumpet player?

well actually i own lots of mouthpieces but i only play one of them. i don`t need to use a shallow cup to wail double c`s and i don`t need a deep cup to produce good tone. If you want me to be the typical trumpet player here... i play lead in the number one junior high jazz band in the nation, i am an all state trumpet player,(7th chair because all state people are so technical and i worry more about musicallity then technicality) and i got accepted to interlochen but don`t have enough money to go... that was kind of fun see i am a true trumpet player it`s just i want to play all the instruments that i can so that i can show off 5 times more than the rest of you jk i just love music that`s why i play so many instruments

Good for you! : )
Seriously, way to go. If you can manage Interlochen, do it - amazing experience.
Cheers!

Performing arts? So you want to be a dancer! Good for you!

You should try busking. I know it doesn`t seem like a good way to raise money for something like Interlochen, but just think about this. One of my friends plays guitar, and he busks at our local farmer`s market. In the span of 30 minutes, on a busy day, he has made up to $50. If you are confident of your playing ability, and are not afraid to solo in public, this is the way to do it.
Good luck,
Thomas
