Hey im in 8th grade and im trying to learn how to play the trumpet. Right now i play the sax but im planning to switch to trumpet for next years marching season. I have a problem playing low!! I can get the high notes pretty well but any thing below an A on the staf and my lips turn to mush and hardly any thing but air comes out. can someone please tell me why this is happening? thanks

the best advise i think of rite now is to think "awe" and to relax your jaw. try to imangine you are below the note.
When going really high think "eeeeee" and tighten your lips
