i thought this would never happen to me..i remember reading about people having this problem on this forum..now i have it!!!

ok..here`s how it started:

i had REALLY bad endurance.i was suggested to do lots of lip buzzing and mp buzzing.

my endurance has not really improved. instead..i`ve developed another embouchure.

i think its like this..for going high i used my lip buzzing emb. which was placing my tongue a bit further back..and sortof bringing my lips in a bit.

this is so annoying!!! is it wrong to have 2 mp positions? what should i do?

My bad on the first post, but its reasuring that u can play higher once your braces come off....Ive had mine for about 2 years and have been able to play High C above the staff without any problem. Im working hard to keeping in tune up there and i hope if its easier to get up there, I can keep tune a lot better

You should find one style of playing and stick with it. If you have two different ways of playing you could get messed up big time when you try to do runs from high to low, or from low to high.

that`s exactly what`s happening...

i have a performance coming up soon..and my thing goes
(middle) a g aaaaaa a(above staff)

rrrr i can get the a with like hardly any pressure-all air, but thats with a different embouchure. i cant get it with the one i use to play midl a..and i cant play middle a with the high a embouchure. so what i do i play with my middle a way and then use pressure to get the high a.

this is doing me no good because halfway through the piece my lips are crashed and i am first chair.
