Favorite to play in?

I`ve been in these 5 types of ensembles and personally I like orchestra... which is your favorite?
Orchestra
Marching Band
Jazz Band
Concert Band
Pep Band
That`s my order.

I would have to say that during my high school days, marching band was my definite favorite, followed by jazz/"stage" band, pep band, then concert band.
Today, 40+ years later, my preferences are: 1. Worship - ensembles and solos. 2. Concert band. 3. Jazz ensemble. 4. Pep Band (which I actually did this past basketball season at our local university  . I have yet to play in and orchestra, but remain alert to such opportunity.

Yea last February I think it was I played in an honor orchestra for high schoolers, I loved it.... The thing with orchestral music (as a trumpet player) is that you`re the only person on your part. Even if you`re third (which I was), you`re the only trumpeter on that part, it`s really cool.

Wind Ensemble is a lot of fun because again ur the only person on ur part and also, the music is brought to a new level, we played songs like Espirit de Corpes and Seis Manuel, fun stuff there, got a standing O at Avery Fischer hall
