how do you say farewell to your teacher? I just got back from a little concert where all the trumpets my teacher teaches from our school perform. The final yr students (there were four) played a quartet and 2 duets and got her a bunch of flowers, then they hugged.
What on earth are you meant to do if there`s only one person?

Depends on the realationship you`ve had with that teacher. The best starting place for most is just to tell them how much their instruction has helped you to learn. A small bouquet of flowers from one person will mean just as much as a big bunch from a group. Hugs don`t cost anything and say a lot without a word being spoken.

I agree with ray. If it were me I would thank the teacher and tell them how much they have helped me over the years. They will appreciate that
