Hi everyone, just wondering if any of yous have heard of this real life incident where a jazz trumpeter died on stage because his head exploded while trying to hit a high note? I`m talking about blood splattering on stage floor, fellow musicians, etc.
I didn`t know that this was possible at all until I read the article.

ive heard of guys having strokes but the head actually exploding, no way! Actually, considering that that article came from the national Enquirer, I would be a bit skeptical of the facts that and if the story was true all together. I dunno but it says that it could have been that guys own personal physiology. Maybe he already had previous damage to that area like from a car accident or even getting hit in the head from a baseball....who knows.

Believing that story is certainly anyone`s prerogative, but they should take into consideration that the tabloid that published it has also published such things as claims of Elvis still being alive (minus most of his vital organs) and thousands of other outrageous claims all designed to make a quick buck off those gullible enough to even take time to read them.

I am anda few of my friends have passed out before from playing double G`s at fff! Some people have burst blood vessels but never had their head explode. Chris

totally impossible... maybe bursting a blood vessle if you push too hard and want it too bad... as ive found by experience...(4 veins burst on me during a gig... all of them in my eye) my eye soon filled up with blood and it looked as tho i was crying blood... the whites of my eye totally red... but not the iris or pupil.. i understand that there is a wall between the two... anyways yeah... its totally impossible to have your head blow up... all tho... it would be neat to load a ballistics gel and bone substitute model with explosive powder and see what hapenss.... oh and by the way national inquirer has made an article about how a skeleton in a life bouy from the titanic was found perfectly intact sitting up and still had a 10 karat diamond ring in perfect condition on its finger just 2 years ago... which was how many years after the titanic???....yah right!!
