Hey!
I am looking at purchasing a new trumpet from my local music store. Although its not a must I would prefer a silver one that is versatile in all styles of music and is in tune easily in all ranges. I want to spend around (can be more or less)$35 per month. What trumpet dp u recommend? Why? Should I plan on spending more than that? ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
PLease note: i am in high school and currently play a yamaha ytr??? which is a student trumpet.

play every horn you can get your hands on. It is like test driving a car. I played a lot of pro horns before I purchased the one I play now. It is your money so spend it wisely. I wouldn`t buy a horn because it is cheap. Get one that you like. Also check pawn shops they sometimes have great deals on good horns. Take someone with you who knows horns and hears you play. Trust their judgment

the Getzen Capri is what as known as a "step-up" horn. Which means one level up from a beginner. It is a nice horn but you may have to buy another one if you are going on in your trumpet beyond high school. After a beginner horn I went to a pro horn, but I knew I was going to go on after high school. Try everything that everyone has to offer. I am currently playing a Cannonball Trumpet and I love it. Try Ebay for horns after you get some knowledge about horns. That can a great source for horns. Anything else I can help you with just ask here.
