hey. i also have to play it for remembrance day. i`m kind of nervous because if i mess it up then the whole school will hear me, but luckily i am behind the curtain on stage so not everyone will know who i am. does anyone have any tips in regards to speed, tempo, articulation or how not to mess it up?

Hey all sorry no sheet music but I have been playing it for years... speed tempo and articulation... if you are by yourself don`t wprry about it, it is a solo bugle call and it is at your discretion... however on that note(no pun intended) decrescendo on any whole notes or pauses to add that solemn feel to the music

oh and take the tricky parts slowly if need be.. If you screw up don`t worry too much about it most of the people listening to you will not know what you are doing and won`t even notice that you made a mistake, just keep playing on like nothing ever happened, and I still get nervous doing it and i have played at dozens of parades usually 3-4 a year for like the past ten years

If you have to play last post, don`t take it too fast (about 1/4 note = 90 or so) and remember that if the high G`s don`t come out, the E will and you will probably be the only who knows because it still sounds fine. Warm up really well, take your time and good luck.

Know most of you are done now, hope it went well. If your doing it for a Sun service and havin a hard time with high notes try whole piece with 1,2,3 depressed brings it down and makes high notes little more attainalbe. No one will notice
