Is warming up important to you? Are you absolutely dependant on your warm up? I find that i can`t play with the same rich sound nor can i go half as high if i havn`t warmed up..and even my fourth space e sounds compressed. Is warming up really that essential though.. can it do harm if you play without warming up or does it not really matter..
What are your thoughts?

Warming up is deffinitly essential to playing. As you get better you`ll find that you become more dependant on your warm up. If you dont warm up before you play you`ll be able to play fine in your high range but in the next few days after you`ll lose five notes off your range because you lips will be shocked from playing high notes withought warming up. Warming up is sort of like stretching, its so you can get better each day after the next. If you t hink warming up is not essential youre prolly warming up wrong or your just a bad player and your just not that good yet. sorry to be so harsh
