i play a student model trumpet still... im looking at new trumpets and have discovered that getzen trumpets are fairly good. smooth and responsive valve action yet it has a nice open feel that dosnt constrict the airflow and allows a nice tone while also allowing notes in the higher registers. Any hidden demons i should know about or is this trumpet fo real??

I dont know of any, they are really a great intermediate horn. Actually I do remember seeing the braces on the leadpipe to the bell break off but thats like 9 years down the road. Honestly, I wish I had one through high school but I was as fortunate. Anywho have fun!

heck i play getzen for school and for pro gigues. they are excellent for jazz. you have to be mature to play a getzen. oh and getzen has the best valves by far out of anybody once you oil them for a few days. you oil them everyday for a week and then they become amazing.

YEah an extra $20 for shipping is alot cheaper than a 3 hour flights- Also- make sure it is or can be sent as a proffessional sample or gift for customs so you don`t have to pay tarrifs.

I have bought from out of country - before- Or search ebay canada

I think it is ebay.ca or something
