I`m in 8th grade, and I hit a C today. The one above the staff, just to be exact. Usually I can`t hit an A up there, and one of my songs requires me to hold it for 9 counts. That`s when 3 guys survive. ^_^

first of all reading throo this i have one thing to say to scott.... bull im in grade nine, last year i had braces and could constantly hit a D above the staff mabye E`s, now im constantly hitting what i believe to be the sencond A above the staff in only gr. 9. like so many people have said befor its valuable but not neccessary i value smooth delicious improv thats kinda so pro its almost like singin what you wanted in the first placewith few screams over a scream fest with little improv skill.... god i love jazz.......

How do you guys have range like this?...Seriously, what do you differently then me. I can hit a high C above the staff...

Maybe sometimes the D above if I feel like blowing my brains out...I have hit the E-flat, but i dont think i will anytime soon again...I want to know how you all do this....I can barely do a High C as it is right now...I dont have a problem to much with the A below it, and the B is iffy sometimes, but more than that, is hard for me...
