Hy!
I just got my first trumpet for my birthday.
Im learning to play with help of DVD " Play Trumpet today"...i just wonder ...when i play a tone it ends too quickly..it is not descending on the end..

Just blow air all the way through....it seems like ur blowing air and then letting up at the end...

try to think of a feather at the end of your horn. And then think you dont want to let that feather touch the ground. You want to support that feather with the air you put through it. Even when you play softly think of that feather never hitting the ground and use that kind of air support in all of your playing.
