Ok in my band every member in the T-Line(our trumpet section) should have a Vincent Bach 3C mouthpiece.But I use a 1.5C an i sound ALOT better on it than others.I also heard that mouthpieces like a 12C lets you hit high notes,but sacrifices tone quality.
Guyz which kind of mouthpiece iz better for a rich warmer sound?

I use a 1C and get a very rich warm tone on it. Good choice by the way for the 1 1/2 when the rest use 3C. I`ve always been an advocate of use what mpc. works for you. I mean are you going to tell someone what shoe size to wear? Anyway if you really want that tone and you are willing to sacrifice range go for a 1B or 3B or something either "B" "A" or just the number by itself such as simply a 1 1/2 instead of a 1 1/2C. If you are getting a decent range on your current mpc and you like your tone just stick with it. You`ll develop your tone and range by yourself.

Where can i find A or B mpcs.Kuz i live in San Diego,CA where som of the music stores here are crap.

I live in NJ about an hour from NYC so its easier here, but you should be able to custom order it from your music store. If not order it online from a website. But, if I were you I would want to try it out first, just ask a store if they carry a 1B or 3B, 3A and see what they say. Maybe a trumpet player in your section knows somebody who has one.
