Hey, i bought a Jupiter 416 pocket trumpet, as i live in a flat i need a mute to practice. I bought a Jo-Ral piccolo trumpet straight mute which fits in perfectly, but makes the horn virtually unplayable
If anyone has played a pocket trumpet with any brand\style of mute successfully, i would really appreciate the info
Cheers,
Mark.

I really do not think that there is a mute made for the very peculiar bell on a pocket trumpet. You might just have to go a large music store with your horn and experiment.

the bell is not realy that different from that of a Bb Trompet.
I have a straight mute, a cup mut, and a harmon mute made for the Bb trumpet, and they all fit.
Hope this helps.
