Am i buzzing right? because whenever i play the trumpet i can reach high c and d but when i try to play e (not high) i start cracking after holding it for about 2 seconds. It also applies to other notes as well. So i guess im not buzzing right or something. Whats the correct way to buzz into the mouthpiece?

If you are a new player you should probably work on long tones. Long tones is when you hold out a note for as long as you can. When you do that you should be working on making the note sound as good as possible. This exersize will help your embochure (the mucles in your lip that help you play.)

well depends what u consider new.. is playing the trumpet for 5 years new?.. and yea i have a problem with buzzing without the mouthpiece. Sometimes i can get it but it also lasts for a few seconds and then i run out of breath..but most of the time the air is too strong and nothing comes out but air. The air pushes my mouth forward and so its hard to keep it closed.. Do you know how you should buzz. Most people say to keep your mouth closed and blow...but thats not a really good explanation..and yea thats why i need to know the proper way to buzz.

Do you press your lips hard against the mouthpiece?? Perhaps you are just tried. This actually sounds like a horn problem.
When you say buzzing, do you mean that your tone sounds off or that you are fluttering between 2 notes?

um yea i do press my mouth hard against my mouthpiece, but thats because i get tired too fast. Way too fast...i play for 5 minutes with only a couple of high a`s and high g`s.. At first its ok, but after 3 min, it starts getting airy...and i can no longer get the high notes that easily. And how would i know if there is something wrong with my trumpet?

Again, I quote from the Master, Claude Gordon;
"Once again, the fallacy that the lips play the horn laid the foundation for mouthpiece buzzing. There is nothing more counterproductive to brass playing than mouthpiece buzzing.
Buzzing the lips and or the mouthpiece does not build or strengthen anything! You practice to keep the lips and facial muscles elastic and flexible, buzzing has the opposite effect and is very stiffening. Besides that, one does not breath correctly when buzzing so range and endurance never develop.
Buzzing puts all of your focus on the lip, misleading you into thinking that it does more than just vibrate. You have to remember that the lips act as a vibration medium only. A free vibration from the lips is what determines the quality of tone that comes through an instrument.
I will not allow my students to "buzz" either the lips or mouthpiece as a practice tool! Although many so called methods advocate buzzing, as do many teachers and schools, this is a shameful waste of time."

Sounds to me like you weren`t taught how to play trumpet right. All you`re doing is filling up with air and pushing the air out through your lips to create a buzz, right?
Do you have a private instructor? If not, you should get one.
