Hey everyone....ive been playin for years now and im going to try making my own mutes but im not quite sure what propre dimensions would be...... and how i could make one and pretty much every thing else..... if i were to try and reacreate the efects of a harmon mute how might i go about doing it or creating something like it???? (its gotta be able to wah cuz a little doo way doo wah spices it all up and i love it in my solos)

Mkay maybye thats just too specific.... does any body know how to make any sort of nice sounding home made mute (go with your definition of nice i dont care whether it zings buzzes or does something totally weird and outrageous)

Try a paper cup!! any standard cup would be adequate, however i prefer the 5cm tesco value cups available for only 59p!! Bargin

Buy a really cheap straight mute from a music store and take it apart. Figure out what they used and then make your own
