take it to a Brook Mays and it will be good as new, they fix em really cheaply too. Explain to ur mom, stuff happens. I had a friend drop his horn where the bell hit flat against the ground, and crumpled it like a soda can. a day and like 45 dollars later, his horn looked brand new, no-joke.

Sorry for the double post, but aside from melting your horn to a pile of melted metal, they can just about fix ANYTHING wrong with instuments.

A good repairman should be able to fix this no problem. But this accident is a reminder that you really need to be very careful with your instrument. The band room is a very dangerous place for a trumpet
