Trumpet has been like, my #1 thing in life. Seeing on how i love music. My range is like..eh, and E above the staff. My double tonging and triple tonging is outstanding, and my lip flexibilty is good enough. I'm not able to lip trill, but i'm getting there. Intonation is awesome, i sound better than my teacher hehehe, and intervals aren't a problem. Note accuracy is awesome...how about you guys??? maybe we can talk about some of these things?? Yeh i must agree with you there, trumpet is also my number one thing. Im not quite as good as my teacher but still able to play the more advanced music. The other day i was hitting F's above the staff throughout my practice. One of the ups is that i changed the habit of playing with the mouthpiece not in the center of the lips, but now its perfectly center to my mouth and has improoved my range, sound and practically everything! I can double and triple tongue pretty well but cant lip trill either... But i really enjoy playing my horn which is a Spiri (swiss made) THE ABSOLUTE BEST!! Top of the range instrument!
