Wow, this forum is outragously long. I play a king silversonic and while it has some shortcomings,(like higher range quality) I like the warm and colorful tone it has. Bachs are really easy to play and sound great but they lack the fullness of sound that I like. Yamaha Xenos have got to be the easiest horn that I have ever payed. Great response, tone, ease of play, and higher range quality is awesome. Cannonball trumpets have good response and tone but have high air resistance. From what I've heard about Jupiters, either they're absolutley terriffic or they absolutley suck. I've never played one but apparently its a personal preference. Bessons feel really big. Its like you're driving a bus, a bus that needs lots of gas (air). Vintage One, I cant remember who makes them but those are nice horns. They play easy and have a good high range. Each horn plays differently no matter who makes 'em. Although, getting to play a horn that isnt yours is fun.

I have a Bach Stradavarius and I love it! It has a nice bright tone and it's smooth. It's also very clean in high ranges. VVVVVVEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYY expensive though! I got mine to make up for like a year and a half of chores and big Christmas and birthday presents. Good luck!

i have recently leased a getzen 7 something and i'll have the final payment by next week. Before that i had a bach student trumpet that i've been playing for 8 years and it was bought used so it was pretty beat. i managed to get that getzen new on sale for 799.99 and the original price is 1,100. it has a proffesional quality sound and it is a pro model (silver laquer) so i'm pretty excited about it when it becomes mine.

Im playing on a Yamaha lightweight model trumpet. I really like the brassy tone I can get from a lightweight horn. Im playing a Jupiter flugelhorn (I know what you're thinking, but Jupiter actually makes quality Flugels).

Cecilio Trumpets are horrible! They are made in mainland china cheaply & no quality control,
Bad Valves. Beware of cheap 3rd world junk!
